At the same time, it is noted that the removal of all restrictions will take place after the end of quarantine.
In particular, the mandatory conditions for visiting the exclusion zone are temperature screening when boarding the bus to the exclusion zone and at the Dityatki checkpoint, the presence of masks or respirators, disposable gloves and hand sanitizers for passengers, as well as maintaining social distance.
Persons with a temperature of more than 37,2, as well as those who have symptoms of respiratory diseases, will not be allowed to visit the exclusion zone. If during the temperature screening at the Dityatki checkpoint an elevated temperature is recorded or a person is found with signs of respiratory diseases, the entire group will not be allowed to enter the exclusion zone.
According to Kirill Garnik, Assistant Director of the TsOTIO State Enterprise, restrictions on visiting certain objects will be in effect for the period of adaptive quarantine. In particular, one route will operate for one day - the village of Zalesye, the cities of Chernobyl and Pripyat, the Chernobyl-2 facility, the village of Kopachi and the Chernobyl observation deck. In addition, there are restrictions on the number of people in a group, namely no more than 10 people.
To avoid congestion of visitors, movement along the route will be carried out according to a fixed traffic schedule from the moment of arrival until the end of the visit.
Recall that on April 4, forest fires engulfed the Chernobyl exclusion zone. A large-scale forest fire in the Chernobyl zone was extinguished in 10 days, on April 16, due to a strong wind, an open fire arose again. All fires were completely extinguished by mid-May.
