Salaries for teachers: in Ukraine, 10 thousand teachers do not receive their money. What is the reason?
Ukrainian teachers are also forced to take vacations at their own expense.

In Ukraine, 10 thousand teachers cannot receive salaries due to the lack of heads of educational institutions that have digital signatures. The Minister of Education and Science Sergey Shkarlet announced on the air of the information telethon.
“Unfortunately, there are 48 territorial communities. This is about 10 thousand teachers who have not received salaries for April. This is because the Ministry of Education does not have direct management of each school, because they are handled by local governments, or their founders,” - he said.
According to the head of the Ministry of Education and Science, teachers do not receive funds because there are no heads of educational institutions with digital signatures or seals to form registers for payments. Shkarlet assured that the Ministry of Education is trying to resolve this issue with the heads of military administrations.
Ukrainian teachers are forced to go on vacation at their own expense
In many Ukrainian cities, teachers are forced to go on vacation at their own expense under the threat of being fired. Education Ombudsman announced this Sergey Gorbachev on the air of the informational telethon.
“I know that in many cities, in Kyiv, for example, teachers are forced to write applications at their own expense, citing the fact that there are no funds. And if there is no application, they threaten to dismiss, - he said.
Gorbachev stressed that the Labor Code in Ukraine has clear grounds for dismissal at the initiative of the employer.
“If the teachers you are now squeezing out of school will get other jobs, where is the guarantee that these teachers will then return to school? You are simply destroying the education system... Look for options to keep teachers in education”, - the Ombudsman addressed the principals of schools.
