In Crimea, a Russian was detained, who transmitted data about the Black Sea Fleet to Ukrainian intelligence

In Sevastopol, the FSB detained a man from among the local residents. He is suspected of passing data on the activities of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation to the Ukrainian special services for a fee. About it сообщают Russian media.

According to reports, the man worked for Ukrainian intelligence. He systematically transmitted data on the state and activities of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, based in Sevastopol. The investigating authorities initiated a case of high treason.

“A citizen of Russia was detained in Sevastopol, who purposefully collected and transferred to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine information on the activities of the Black Sea Fleet that constitutes a state secret, the leakage of which abroad could damage the defense capability of the state”, the FSB press release says.

At the same time, the special service added that operational-search activities are still ongoing. Perhaps the man had accomplices. In general, he faces 12 to 20 years in prison.

Earlier in St. Petersburg, the Ukrainian consul was detained by the FSB. He allegedly made attempts to acquire illegal databases on Russian citizens working in law enforcement agencies. According to representatives of the Russian special services, Consul General of Ukraine Oleksandr Sosonyuk tried to acquire illegal information on the market. The activity of the diplomat was called “hostile towards Russia”, he is threatened with expulsion. In turn, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry threatened the Russian side with “mirror measures”.

Klymenko Time informed about detention on the territory of Russia of a group of neo-Nazis who were allegedly supervised by the Ukrainian SBU. The radicals were arrested in Voronezh. According to the FSB, the organization was supervised by the Ukrainian special services and was preparing to carry out extremist activities (terrorist attacks, assassinations of a political nature, etc.). During a search, one of the members of the group even seized ammunition from the times of the Great Patriotic War - a military mine. Note that earlier, allegedly members of the same combat group detained in Moscow.
