Ukrainians are waiting for a harsh winter and the most difficult heating season in the history of independent Ukraine. Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Irina Vereshchuk said Olga,where the situation is the most difficult.

“The most difficult situation is in Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. In particular, in Energodar, Berdyansk and Melitopol"- said Vereshchuk. For example, there has been no gas in the temporarily occupied Melitopol for more than a month.

“There are no prospects for the appearance of gas. And it is used to provide 95% of heating, - noted the mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov. - In Berdyansk, he disappeared 3 months ago, but his filing has not yet been restored. The words of the invaders about the construction of a gas pipeline from Berdyansk are fake.”

The left-bank regions were at risk, in particular Nikolaev, Donetsk, Lugansk, Kharkiv and partially Chernihiv and Poltava regions.

According to the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, 316 boiler houses were damaged (304 damaged and 12 destroyed), 10 thermal power plants (6 damaged and 4 destroyed) and 1 thermal power plant.

“At the moment, 156 boiler houses have been restored, which are located in safer areas. All the necessary materials have been prepared for the repair of the rest. Most of the work is repairing roofs and windows. We are waiting for September to carry out these works, because it is clear that the shelling can be repeated,” - said the Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Alexey Chernyshev.

According to him, there are key objects, the state of damage of which does not allow heat supply. These are, in particular, Kremenchug, Chernihiv and Akhtyrskaya thermal power plants.

“We understand that the filling of local budgets in the conditions of war does not allow the communities to solve these problems on their own in the required time frame. Therefore, after studying the condition of the facilities, determining the list of works and forming the budget, the government decided to allocate UAH 286 million. A schedule for the restoration of these facilities has been developed, the implementation of which will be carefully monitored by the Ministry of Regional Development and further funding will be provided in accordance with the stages of work., - demethylamine.

And he stressed that this is not about the complete restoration of facilities to their original state, but about restoring the ability of heat supply by the beginning of the heating season: “From the point of view of the lack of financial resources and the threat of new strikes, this is the most rational approach. What is meant? For example, at the Akhtyrskaya CHPP, the money will be spent on the restoration of a hot-water boiler, at the Chernihivskaya CHPP - a transformer and a turbogenerator. Complete renovation of administrative buildings is not yet in time”.

As the director of energy programs at the Razumkov Center says Vladimir Omelchenko, the east and south are the most problematic regions of the state in terms of heating. “We need to encourage people to evacuate to other regions of Ukraine. Of course, they can hit both Kyiv and Lvov, so the security issue is conditional today, but I think it’s easier to restore the operation of damaged heat supply systems in Kyiv or Lvov,” the expert is convinced.
