One of the biggest surprises on the new sanctions list is a Russian designer Artemy Lebedev, who has a business in Ukraine and, according to some media reports, an apartment in Kyiv.

In 2017, Lebedev received a five-year ban on entry into Ukraine under the standard wording - for visiting Crimea. The designer twice tried to challenge the ban, but was denied.

Together with Lebedev, there are 52 people on the list, the majority are Russian judges, five citizens of Austria, as well as the plenipotentiary representative of the President of Russia in the North Caucasus Federal District Yuri Chaika.

The sanctions provide for the blocking of assets and a ban on the withdrawal of capital for 5 years.
