In turn, the Russian military-industrial complex is experiencing a shortage of critical microelectronics due to sanctions imposed by the West.

He noted that currently the Russian Federation cannot access advanced technologies and Western financial systems, which limits the ability of the Russian defense industry to produce weapons, as well as replace what was destroyed during the war.

"Russia is running out of microelectronics critical to their military-industrial complex, and Russian officials are worried that they lack foreign components," Adeemo said.

In addition, the two largest Russian microelectronics manufacturers were forced to suspend production due to the lack of critical foreign technologies.
