Exactly a month has passed since it flared up scandal around the deputy head of the President's Office Kirill Timoshenko, who, as a company car, used a vehicle donated to Ukraine by an American company General Motors for humanitarian purposes and the removal of people from the war zone. But new information has appeared in the media that the official does not deny himself luxury, at least inappropriate, given the wartime.

According to investigation According to Ukrayinska Pravda, this summer Timoshenko was repeatedly seen driving a brand new Porsche, and he also rents an elite house for $6000 a month. The most interesting thing is that this information was confirmed by the official himself, and he does not see anything shameful in this, since, according to him, he can afford it.

Car for 100 thousand dollars took a ride

UP journalists report that at the end of June, city cameras recorded a new Porsche Taycan 2021 price, the cost of which on specialized sites is about 100 000 dollars.

The car was purchased June 8, 2022, and already on June 25, it was recorded by cameras seven times during the day video surveillance systems "Safe city". She was seen on the Novoobukhovskaya and Staroobukhovskaya highways, next to the main settlement of Ukrainian millionaires - Koncha-Zaspa, or officially - Kozin. The cameras also recorded the car in July and August, and some pictures clearly show that it was Kirill Timoshenko who was driving the car.

According to the publication, owns a car LLC "Novem Logistic", registered in Kyiv at the address Park road, 16a. This is the address of the Parkovy exhibition center, where the Servant of the People faction used to often gather.

The sole owner of the company is a non-public businessman Vemir Davityan. UP sources in political and business circles call him an informal curator from the authorities of the Zaporozhye region.

Himself Kirill Timoshenko confirmed to reporters that he drove this car several times, but the official allegedly borrowed it from Davityan and returned the car a few months ago.

At the same time, the photographs published by the editors show that there were at least twice as many such times.

In turn, Vemir Davityan said gave the car to Tymoshenko two weeks after purchase for a test drivebecause it didn't suit him. But even if this is so, then the test drive assumes at least the intention of the deputy head of the OP to buy this car.

Expensive but safe house

As it turned out, Kirill Timoshenko is not only a lover of expensive carsand luxury apartments. At the beginning of the summer, he posted a video from his run, which shows that an official lives in one of the top suburban villagespopular among representatives of the Ukrainian elite.

According to UP sources, the deputy head of the President's Office settled in a house almost 1200 square meters with its own access to a pond owned by a businessman Igor Nikonov, which is included in 100 richest people in the country according to "Focus" and is considered one of the the largest developers in Kyiv.

Question about the house Kirill Timoshenko noted that rents it out for security reasons, because his own residence is in a dangerous place, given the regular rocket attacks. The official even agreed to show the lease agreement concluded with Nikonov this Julywhen, by the way, such massive shelling of Kyiv, as it is now, not yet.

According to the contract, the estate is rented by the wife of Kirill Timoshenko. And the rental price is 230 000 hryvnia per month, which at the current exchange rate is about 6 dollars.

The journalists turned to experts in the real estate market for advice and analyzed online rental ads. It turned out that Tymoshenko got the house at a cheap price. According to experts, the average cost of renting houses of the same area in this cottage town can range from $10 to $25.

But there is one caveat, Tymoshenko public curator of the construction direction, and Nikonov's business is in this plane. When asked about a possible conflict of interest, the deputy head of the OP replied, that Nikonov does not participate in government projects.

But then how to explain that on the page of the construction company Igor Nikonov there was a message that two residential blocks of KAN Development joined the state program "eOselya" - a preferential mortgage of housing?

Thanks to this program, Ukrainians of certain professions can buy apartments on credit for 20 years at a rate of 3%, and developers get the opportunity to sell apartments that, for obvious reasons, have hardly been sold since the beginning of a full-scale invasion.

But the deputy head of the Zelensky Office claims that all these facts have nothing to do with his position, since he and his family have the official fortune to both rent a house and buy a Porsche, which, in principle, coincides with the data of its preliminary declarations.

At the same time, according to the data of his declaration for 2020, Tymoshenko and his wife already owned 5 BMW X2019, 2017 Porsche Macan, 2014 Volkswagen Caravelle.

It is hardly possible to surprise anyone with the prosperity and luxurious life of Ukrainian politicians. But when a war is going on in the country, and Ukrainians are surviving with all their might in conditions of total blackouts and inflation, losing their apartments, houses and loved ones, a demonstration of such well-being by those in power looks at least inappropriate. And it's not even a feast during the plague.
