Cynology - the science of cinema? The new head of the Dovzhenko Center treats the fear of dogs with hypnosis and has nothing to do with the film industry

The state enterprise "National Center of Alexander Dovzhenko" was temporarily headed by the head of the cynological center Julia Kazhdan. This is stated in investigation Slidstvo.Info.

What happened?

November 2 The State Agency of Ukraine on Film Issues based on the results of the audit suspended from the position of the former head of the Dovzhenko Center Elena Goncharuk, which publicly opposed the decision of Goskino to reorganize the structure, which, in her opinion, could lead to the destruction of the Center, which houses the archive of Ukrainian cinema. In the State Agency in the summer deniedthat intend to liquidate the Center.

According to the State Agency, the poor financial condition of the Center is a consequence of the inefficient performance of their duties by officials, which is why it actually does not work and produces less than 0,01% of its potential capacity. Instead, it rents out 90% of government premises, from which it receives income, although it is a non-profit enterprise by statute. The center annually receives about UAH 7 million from the state budget. and is unprofitable.

Newly appointed as acting the head of the State Agency was named «professional crisis manager, which should eliminate the shortcomings discovered during the audit, and establish the financial and economic activities of the Center ".

"Crisis manager" for fear of dogs

According to the data collected by journalists, Kazhdan does not even have a minimum experience in the film industry. But she has 3 other specialties:

1. Cynologist. Since 2013, Kazhdan has become a co-owner and head of a cynological center in the Kiev-Svyatoshinsky district, which provides animal hotel services, dog training and zoopsychology services.
2. A hypnotist. Found on social media page "Hypnosis. Kazhdan”, dedicated to hypnotherapy and work with psychosomatics. Kazhdan also positions himself as a "crisis psychologist" (and not a "crisis manager", as indicated by the State Film Agency). And the phone number of this page is signed with the name of the dog training center Kazhdan. One of Kazhdan's specialties is the treatment of fear of dogs.

3. Accountant. In 2005, Kazhdan became the founder of Law Firm Kazhdan and Partners LLC, specializing in accounting and auditing. From the moment of its creation until the autumn of 2012, Kazhdan was the owner and head of the company. After that, the company was rewritten to a resident of Mukachevo, Transcarpathian region. In 2007-2011 the company declared a multi-million dollar revenue: from 9 to 19 million hryvnia. Firm featured in criminal proceedings dated May 29.05.2015, 1999 for abuse of power or official position. Currently, Kazhdan is the owner and head of the private enterprise "Julia-K", founded in XNUMX and also specializing in accounting.

The cynologist is about cinema?

In social networks, traditionally, with irony, they reacted to such an appointment. Some users even joked that they also thought that cynologists were engaged in cinema.

And they drew analogies with other specialties.

It should be noted that later on the position of the head of the Dovzhenko Center intends to conduct a competitive selection. This selection will be led by a designated "professional crisis manager". However, Kazhdan herself will not take part in the competition.

Journalists turned to Yulia Kazhdan with a request to comment on her appointment, but she repeated several times that she could not speak. But when they dialed her from another number and allegedly tried to sign up for a hypnosis session, the new head of the center, Dovzhenko, spoke in detail about her methods of work and made an appointment for a consultation. Both conversations took place during the working hours of the newly appointed leader.
