How Ukrainians are set within the framework of the coronavirus - a new survey and rating of trust in politicians

In Ukraine November 28-30 conducted a survey regarding the mood of residents against the backdrop of quarantine and the epidemic situation.

The corresponding results of the study were published by the sociological group "Rating".

Judging by the data, 59% of Ukrainians often follow news about coronavirus, 21% do it sometimes and 11% rarely. At the same time, 8% of respondents are not at all interested in such news.

A third of respondents (33%) feel tense about what is happening, but 36% rated their emotional state over the past week as calm. It is noteworthy that a high level of anxiety was recorded among women, the elderly, as well as those who more often follow the news about COVID-19.

According to the information, over the past two weeks, the level of support for the “weekend quarantine” has decreased from 49% to 44% (the number of opponents has increased from 49 to 54%). Only 34% expect that the spread of the disease will decrease due to quarantine, while 64% do not agree with this.

In turn, the number of those who support the introduction of a full lockdown has increased from 36% to 42%, while the number of opponents has decreased from 61% to 55%.

In addition, the number of respondents has increased (from 55 to 58%), who believe that the spread of coronavirus will decrease as a result of strict quarantine. At the same time, 58% support the introduction of a lockdown for the New Year holidays (40% are against it).

As for vaccinations, more than half (55%) of those surveyed are ready to personally vaccinate against COVID-19 if it is free. However, 40% are not ready for this. If the vaccine is paid, there will be fewer people willing to get vaccinated - 35%, and 57% will not do it in this case.

Power assessment

According to the survey, 34% are satisfied with the activities of President Volodymyr Zelensky in the fight against coronavirus, 64% are not satisfied. 44% of respondents trust the head of state, but 53% do not trust him.

28% are satisfied with the activities of the Ministry of Health in the fight against the epidemic, 68% are dissatisfied. 28% are satisfied with the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 60% are dissatisfied, 12% found it difficult to assess.

Most of all among the central authorities, the respondents are dissatisfied with the work of the Cabinet of Ministers (72%) and the Verkhovna Rada (78%).

Trust Rating:

  • Vitali Klitschko is trusted by 33%;
  • Vladimir Groysman - 31%;
  • Dmitry Razumkov - 27%;
  • Yulia Tymoshenko - 26%;
  • Yuriy Boyko - 24%;
  • Petro Poroshenko - 23%;
  • Arsen Avakov - 22%;
  • Arseniy Yatsenyuk is trusted by 15%;
  • Denis Shmyhal - 15%;
  • Andriy Yermak - 9%.

Recall that 50% of Ukrainians do not support allocation of funds from the COVID-19 fund for the construction of roads, and 48% are in favor.
