According to the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko, the Minister of Internal Affairs also came under mortar fire at the position of the 30th Brigade of the Novolugansky smt Denis Monastyrsky, a group of people's deputies, as well as 25 foreign journalists.

“It's a miracle no one was hurt. Journalists from CNN, FOXnews, Washington Post, New York Times, Voice of America and other world media were able to see for themselves who was actually preparing for an attack on peaceful Ukraine, and who was preparing for defense,” Gerashchenko said.
