Danilov urged the UOC to recognize belonging to the Moscow Patriarchate and renounce Putin-"Satan"
And since the New Year, the UOC may lose two churches in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra.

Information attacks on the Ukrainian Orthodox Church continued in Ukraine, this time by the National Security and Defense Council. Yes, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexey Danilov on the air of the telethon called on the UOC to recognize belonging to the Moscow Patriarchate.
“If you hide your belonging to the Moscow Patriarchate, to connections with people who in churches in Russia pray for our soldiers to be killed and bless them to kill, then how can you even look in the eye”Danilov said.
According to him, a person who goes to a temple should understand which particular temple he is coming to, and the abolition of the mention of the Moscow Patriarchate in the title prevents this.
“When they began to cover up and hide, that they supposedly had nothing to do with Muscovy - this is not beautiful. (...) If you have no relationship, officially disown, say that this is Satan sitting, Satan Putin. Satan sits the one that they have another one walking there - Cyril or whatever his name is. Call a spade a spade - then it will be fair and just"- called the head of the National Security and Defense Council.
Previously in the National Security and Defense Council directly proposed to ban the UOC in Ukraine. This proposal was made after in one of the temples of the UOC they performed a song glorifying Russia, and after a series of searches by the SBU in the temples of the UOC, in which sometimes found pro-Russian literature.
Danilov made the current statement, commenting appeal Viceroy of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, Metropolitan Paul to the president Vladimir Zelensky with a request not to take away from the UOC churches on the territory of the Lavra - the Assumption Cathedral and the Refectory Church.
In his address, Metropolitan Pavel noted that he had been the governor of the Lavra for more than 30 years, and together with the brethren, consisting of 220 people, he prayed for the state and the army, and tried to help all those in need.
According to him, the UOC rented the temples of the Lavra from the state, but their lease ends on December 31. The priest addressed the Minister of Culture on this issue. Alexandru Tkachenko (Lavra, like other cultural monuments of the country, is managed by the Ministry of Culture), but did not receive an answer.
In this regard, Pavel urged Zelensky not to take the Temples from the church.
“It is enough for us when the enemy hits our people, we have enough of that misfortune and grief when people are starving in the cold and without light. And you still want to take away the faith from people? Do you want to take away the last hope? Do not do that", Pavel said.
Zelensky at the time of publication of this material did not react to the appeal.
Recall that before the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the UOC officially belonged to the Moscow Patriarchate, but On May 27, at the Council of the UOC, it was decided to secede from Moscow and Constantinople and declare independence from the ROC. One of the reasons for this decision was disagreement with the position of Patriarch Kirill regarding the war in Ukraine. We wrote in more detail about the results of the Council in the link material.
We also wrote about the UOC announced the harassment by the channel "1 + 1", and told that the initiative to completely ban the UOC has already been announced in two Ukrainian regions.
