Eggs are getting more expensive

It happens thereforethat constant power outages destabilize the work of poultry farms, lead to an increase in production costs, loss of productivity and disruption of technological processes.

And such interruptions, according to the executive director of the Association "Union of Poultry Breeders of Ukraine" Sergei Karpenko, are forcing manufacturers to revise their production plans in the direction of reducing production in order to reduce possible losses.

Karpenko emphasized that incubators are now mainly powered by generators, since power outages lead to significant losses during the incubation of eggs, which is why the production of young animals is reduced. It is likely that if the situation does not stabilize, in the future this may lead to some shortage of eggs.

And the salt there

The shortage of own salt in the country and the need to import it continues to affect the price dynamics. So, in November, compared to October, sea edible salt has risen in price quite significantly: from 31,7 hryvnia. up to UAH 37,6 per kilogram. In general, sea salt prices have been rising for the third month in a row.
