Food prices in November: eggs, bread and salt are more expensive, but something has fallen in price
Power outages have a negative impact on the price dynamics of some types of products.

In Ukraine сообщают about updating prices for a number of products - traditionally, almost everything has risen in price, and blackouts play an important role in this. We tell you what is happening with prices now.
Eggs are getting more expensive
Experts' forecasts continue to come true: egg prices in the country have not stabilized and continue to creep up. If last month a dozen eggs could still be purchased for an amount of around 60 hryvnia, now it is almost impossible to find them for less than 70 hryvnia.
It happens thereforethat constant power outages destabilize the work of poultry farms, lead to an increase in production costs, loss of productivity and disruption of technological processes.
And such interruptions, according to the executive director of the Association "Union of Poultry Breeders of Ukraine" Sergei Karpenko, are forcing manufacturers to revise their production plans in the direction of reducing production in order to reduce possible losses.
Karpenko emphasized that incubators are now mainly powered by generators, since power outages lead to significant losses during the incubation of eggs, which is why the production of young animals is reduced. It is likely that if the situation does not stabilize, in the future this may lead to some shortage of eggs.
And the salt there
The shortage of own salt in the country and the need to import it continues to affect the price dynamics. So, in November, compared to October, sea edible salt has risen in price quite significantly: from 31,7 hryvnia. up to UAH 37,6 per kilogram. And the price of flour has fallen somewhat: for example, a kilogram of flour "Khutorok" has decreased in price from 21,99 UAH. up to UAH 20,90
