On May 5, in the United Arab Emirates, the city of Sharjah, a 48-story skyscraper caught fire. All floors of the building were on fire, but the fire was later extinguished.

What happened
According to information, the 10th floor caught fire first, then the fire has already spread throughout the building.
It is reported that pieces of the skyscraper's skin covered the entire street, and almost all the cars that were near the building were damaged. The location where the fire occurred is fenced and guarded by law enforcement agencies.
All residents of the high-rise building and five neighboring buildings were evacuated. Rescuers extinguished the fire in all possible ways: with the help of cars, hydrants, drones.
Eyewitnesses on the network write that the fire was not visible outside the skyscraper.
According to the media, the cause of the fire has not yet been established. The rescue service reported that the call about the fire came at 21:04.
In turn, the police, using drones, tried to determine if there were people in the skyscraper.
