The head of the UOC-KP, Patriarch Filaret, was diagnosed with a coronavirus infection. He was urgently hospitalized.
This was announced in his Telegram channel by MP Igor Mosiychuk.
“Patriarch Filaret of Kyiv and All Russia-Ukraine was diagnosed with Covid-19. His Holiness was hospitalized. We believe that despite his venerable age, our Patriarch will overcome his illness and continue his service to God and Ukraine!
We pray to our Lord Jesus Christ for the safe recovery of our Patriarch! May God bless and heal all the sick! Save me, God!", - the report said.
Recall that Patriarch Filaret is 91 years old, so the disease can be dangerous for his life.
Recall that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allocated funds for the centralized purchase of the Remdesivir drug for the treatment of coronavirus disease.
